The American Cancer Society Celebrates Its 100th Birthday In SCV


The American Cancer Society was founded in 1913 and celebrated it’s 100th birthday on Wednesday.

“The American Cancer Society has made so many discoveries and moved us so far forward in the fight against cancer.” said a Representative of the SCV Relay for Life, Danika Sanchez

 

Bake You Happy sold a special ACS cupcake at both of their locations. A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the American Cancer Society.

 

“With the support of our community, we’re looking forward to hundreds more years of progress.” said Sanchez

 

Representatives from the Santa Clarita Valley Relay for Life met at the Valencia Marketplace to light candles on cupcakes and sing “Happy Birthday”.
