The Best in Business – 2006

The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce has announced the nominees for Business of the Year.

This prestigious award is designated for businesses that operate above and beyond similar sized companies, and there are awards for three categories: Small, Medium and Large businesses.

The nominees are:

For small businesses: Plumbing by Kirk, The Ingram Team, Gold Feather Realty, All Corked Up and Choppe’ Advertising.

For Medium Businesses: KHTS AM 1220, Mercedes of Valencia, Bank of Santa Clarita, Lexus of Valencia and SCV Bank.

Large Businesses: Burrtec Waste Industries, Mountasia Family Fun Center, The Signal, Wal-Mart and Lennar.

Individual Special achievement: Carl Goldman, Joe Messina, John Gardner, Rhona Jukes and Sue Reynolds.

Winners in each respective category will be announced January 19th.

Previous winners include;

Small Business: Creative Image (2001), Green Room Design (2002), Sign-A-Rama (2003), Wildcat Technology (2004) and Jon Gardner Insurance (2005).

Medium Businesses: Golden West K-9 and Valencia Acura (2001), Vital Express (2002), AV Party Rentals (2003) Telesis Credit Union (2004), Loan Connectors (2005).

Large Businesses: Andy Gump (2001), Ultra Violet Devices, Inc. (2002), Newhall Land (2003), Salt Creek Grill (2004), and Remo, Inc. (2005)
