The Literacy And Arts Festival Celebrates Education In Santa Clarita

The Literacy And The Arts Festival Brings Art And Education To the youth of Santa Clarita.

[view:node_ad=5] The SCV Education Foundation in conjunction with the City of Santa Clarita will be holding the 2nd Annual Literacy and the Arts Festival on Saturday.

Following the procession of the Holiday Parade, this year's Festival will be held in William S. Hart Park and will be a day of entertainment, education and activities to promote and encourage literacy and the performing arts to people of all ages.

There will be crafts, storytelling, and storybook characters for the children, along with notable authors signing books, and live stage entertainment by local schools.
 
Over 40 vendors will be there, each promoting a local or an outside business with an emphasis on education and the arts, along with food vendors with Thai, Mexican, or typical festival food options.

The SCV Education Foundation supports 55 public school in the Santa Clarita Valley, and holds the Literacy and Arts Festival to emphasize the importance of knowledge and learning in every child's life.
