The president of the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation announced her retirement after 33 years of service, officials announced Friday.

Vose began her tenure as president of the Foundation in 2001, having been part of Henry Mayo’s philanthropic program since 1982. In addition to heading fundraising programs, she played a major role in the development, recruitment and management of the Foundation’s 22-member Board of Directors and related committees and support groups. During her tenure, she has participated in raising over $52 million for Henry Mayo.

Her retirement will be effective July 3, 2015.

Vose led fundraising efforts for scores of hospital projects, including:

  • The Hospital’s Medical Pavilion
  • An Adult Day Healthcare Center
  • The Sheila R. Veloz Breast Center
  • A New Enlarged Emergency Department
  • The Roberta G. Veloz Cardiac Cath Lab
  • The Wayne and Connie Spears Intensive Care Unit
  • The Kim and Steven Ullman Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
  • The Akbar Hasan Infusion Center
  • The Henry Mayo Center
  • The Campaign for a New Patient Tower

We are deeply grateful to Diana and wish her all the best in her retirement.”
