The Theatre Project/SCV To Host “Salon Series”

On Friday evening, March 2nd, The Theatre Project/SCV is hosting a “de-lovely” evening saluting the works of Noel Coward and Cole Porter.

Being held at the MacMillan Ranch home of Carl Goldman & Jeri Seratti-Goldman, this will be the first in a series of “Salon Performances” to encourage membership in THE CORPORATE 100, a core group of local businesses joined to support the creation of a new Santa Clarita Valley theatre company that will bring professional theatre close to home, with an emphasis on great Broadway musicals.

While enjoying wine and light hors d’oeuvres, guests at the Salon Series will be treated to musical and dramatic performances featuring actors from Broadway, film and television.  Among those confirmed to perform at the March 2nd event is actress Linda Grey, who is best known for her long-running portrayal of Sue Ellen Ewing on television’s Dallas, Grey also portrayed Priscila Kelly on The Bold and the Beautiful and Hillary Michaels on Melrose Place (a character she later reprised on Models Inc.), among numerous other television appearances.

Also scheduled to perform in this intimate setting are Broadway performers Julia Gregory (Showboat, Joseph…, Damn Yankees, etc.), Victoria Oscar (Annie, Les Misérables)  and composer/recording artist Scotch Ellis-Loring,  among other surprise celebrities.

Carl Goldman and Jeri Seratti-Goldman are owners of Santa Clarita’s hometown radio station, KHTS AM 1220 and have been ardent and enthusiastic supporters of The Theatre Project/SCV.
