Latest storm was last for a little while.
This time last week, Santa Clarita was buried beneath a torrential downpour that darkened the sky, troubled the commute and flooded the yard. The sun poked out again Sunday after a week hiatus; although Tuesday’s brief spat of rain broke that streak.
The good news: The rest of the week will be clear and sunny. The National Weather Service predicts no rain through Monday, and temperatures should stick around the mid 60s during the day.
That most certainly means that any events planned for this weekend will go on as scheduled. The next chance of rain won’t come until Tuesday, and even then it seems slight.
