KHTS AM 1220, Santa Clarita’s only local radio station, will be partnering with College of the Canyons by participating in the third annual Virtual Job & Career Fair.

The Job & Career Fair will be held on Oct. 14, 2015 from 10 am to 2 pm and provides students and the general public with the chance to network with various companies to find job opportunities.

With approximately 100 companies participating in the event, KHTS offers a Virtual Job Fair for employers who are unable to attend.

“We are also partnering with KHTS, who sponsors the Virtual Job Fair. You’ll find a bank of computers set up with staff available to help job seekers navigate the website where employers registered to find new talent” said Gina Bogna, Assistant Dean of Internships, Development, and Career Center at College of the Canyons.

The Virtual Job Fair gives Santa Clarita residents a wide-range of choices by introducing them to companies that were unable to attend the event. The online virtual fair streams more businesses that may be a match for the career field job seekers are looking to pursue.

KHTS covers a combination of news, traffic, and sports that reaches all of the Santa Clarita Valley and parts of the high desert communities located in the Antelope Valley.

Some of the companies being featured on the Virtual Fair have already started posting various job positions and openings for public on the website, http://santaclaritavirtualjobfair.com/.
