A third suspect in a June 10 armed robbery has been arrested while he tried to settle a traffic ticket.

Det. Mark Barretto was in court for the arraignment of suspect Ruben Gutierrez, a suspect arrested July 23 for his participation in the holdup. He was approached by an individual at court who told him that Pedro Antonio Leon, 18, who was also being sought in the investigation, was at a window in the traffic section of the courtroom.

Barretto went to that area and found Leon and placed him under arrest. Leon, a Canyon Country resident, is being held on suspicion of armed robbery in lieu of $100,000 bail. Gutierrez was sent back to custody at Pitchess Detention Center, where he is being held in lieu of $205,000 bail. Another suspect, a juvenile, was arrested July 14.

All three are active members of a local gang.
