This Week’s Football Schedule Announced

Saugus, Valencia,
SCCS and COC still in contention.


[view:node_ad=5]Starting Friday, local high school and college football
teams continue their march through the playoffs. Here’s the lineup for this
week, along with some potential matches for the following week.

 

Friday, November 28th

 

CIF Southern Section Northern Division Second Round :

 

Thousand Oaks
plays Saugus at COC. Game begins at
7:30 and it will be broadcast live
on AM-1220 KHTS (pre game starts at 7:10 p.m.)

 

Valencia
plays at Westlake. Game time is at 7:30 p.m.

 

Other games:

  • St. Bonaventure @ Paso
    Robles;
  • Atascadero @ Moorpark.

 

ImageIf Saugus wins,
they will play either at St. Bonaventure or at home against Paso Robles on
Friday December 5th.

 

If Valencia
wins, they will play at home against the Moorpark/Atascadero winner on Saturday
December 6th.

 

 

8-Man Football:

CIF Southern Section Division I 8-Man Semi-Final

Santa Clarita Christian @ Windward

Faith Baptist vs. Thatcher

SCCS won both coin flips, so they would be the designated home team in the championship
if they get there.


Saturday, November 29th

 

Southern California Semi-Final:


College of the Canyons hosts El Camino on Saturday at 7 p.m. This game will be broadcast live on AM-1220. (pre
game coverage begins at 6:40)
 

If COC wins, they would host the winner of the Mt. Sac/Fullerton game next week
in the Southern California final.
