Three Dog Night Front Man Headlining Concert

Hart High Music Department to benefit

On June 2nd, the College of the Canyons’ Performing Arts Center will get the Rock and Roll treatment.

Chuck Negron, best known for his vocal leads on some of Three Dog Night’s biggest hits, including his un-mistakable “Jeremiah was a bullfrog” opening to “Joy to the World.”

The concert marks Negron’s most recent success as a top notch performer and will display hits that brought Grammy nominations and billboard chart numbers, as well as some new, solo material.

Proceeds from the concert will go to benefit the Hart High School Music Department, and the Hart Jazz Band and Show Choir will make a special appearance.

Doors will open at 6:45 and the show begins at 7:30pm on Saturday June 2nd. VIP tickets run $100, orchestra and box seats cost $75 and balcony seats are available for $50.

Chuck Negron made his professional debut with Three Dog Night in 1967 and the band has since sold 90 million records. Their music dominated the charts and wowed audiences as they earned a reputation for drawing huge crowds.

The night is being sponsored by a number of local companies including Mercedes Benz of Valencia and Salt Creek Grille.
