Three Men Arrested In Canyon Country

Three suspects arrested, Sheriff’s thank neighborhood watch.

[view:node_ad=5]An apparent crime spree came to an end in Canyon Country
early this morning when a resident spotted two men dressed in dark clothing looking
into vehicles, and called police.

Sheriff’s responded to the 17000 block of Canvas Street and
found Adan Estrada, 21, and Juan Salas, 20, of Los Angeles hiding underneath several
shrubs.

Deputies discovered that an SUV, parked in a side yard of a
nearby residence, had been lifted off the ground with hydraulic jacks and the
suspects were apparently trying to steal the rims and tires, estimated to be
worth more than $20,000.

The suspects apparently couldn’t fit the rims and tires into
the vehicle they were driving, so they began searching the neighborhood for a
new vehicle.

Upon further investigation deputies located a GMC Yukon Denali parked nearby and found a third suspect,
Ricardo Esquer, 23, of Los Angeles
hiding underneath a blanket in the back cargo area.

A check of the cars license plates revealed that it had been
stolen from the North Hollywood
area.

Tools and electronic items were also recovered from the
suspects vehicle.

Deputies believe these items may have been stolen during
other incidents.

All three suspects were taken into custody without incident and
could face charges of grand theft, taking a vehicle without the owners
consent, and conspiracy to commit burglary.
