The 2014 Tilted Kilt Calendar Girl Wrap Party was held at our local Tilted Kilt in Valencia. KHTS radio met with some of the girls to see why they enjoyed being a Tilted Kilt Girl and what their future plans were.
All of the girls loved their jobs and thought that the Calendar Shoot was entertaining.
According to Tilted Kilt Girl Fallon, she loves Tilted Kilt for the “atmosphere, people, and coworkers.” She enjoys the good food and loves to be there because it is “really fun and exciting.”

She explained that she has always been a Kilt girl at heart and is very hospitable, which makes her perfect for the job.
Fallon already has a degree in communications, but plans on moving up in the Tilted Kilt management or corporate because she really loves the franchise.
All of the girls felt that the Tilted Kilt franchise represented classiness and sophistication.
The Tilted Kilt embraces “kindness, friendly faces, and always a smile as they are there for the people,” said Fallon.
Tilted Kilt Girl Danielle really admires the company and is already working her way through the company.
She appreciates “how well everyone treats us, like our managers, how fast we can move up the company because we don’t have to stay a Kilt girl forever, but can move up to corporate.”
She knows that the guests are treated well, as all the girls try to treat guests like family.
Her goals are to “move up to corporate because I’m already a corporate trainer.”
Eventually Danielle would like to be doing hair and make-up for the Calendar shoots. At the end of the shoot all the girls received a $2,000 scholarship and she would use it for hair and make-up training.
Another Tilted Kilt Calendar Girl, Ericka, hails from San Diego and appreciated the fact that she never has the same day at work.
She said that she is “always meeting new people, it is a good experience because I love the people I work with, we always have such a great time.”
Ericka stands out from the crowd with her unique personality because she says that she is not a typical Kilt girl. She enjoys “getting the guests involved, because she bartends and makes sure that people feel welcome at the pub.”
In the future she will graduate from Cal State San Marcos and unlike the other girls does not plan on working with the company further, but rather selling medical devices or owning her own business.
Ericka said that the Calendar Shoot “was amazing and it exceeded her expectations.”
She believes that the Kilt girls are not order-takers, but rather relationship builders with the guests to keep them coming back.
Scarlett from Chicago, Illinois previously worked in a movie theater and compared her previous job to the one at the Kilt now.
She jokingly stated that she “had nightmares about popcorn before, but now I worry about having too many tables.”
Scarlett enjoys working at the Tilted Kilt because of the better hours, the fact that it was fun and flexible, and she simply loved the outfits.
She is working on her bachelor’s degree in communications currently but wants to “travel, model, and would love to work for WWE.”
