–Rock out with the best of local bands while helping out a fellow musician in need at the “Concert for Stephen,” on Sunday, November 30. The concert is a fundraiser for local musician Stephen Sorenson who is currently battling an advanced stage of liver cancer. Featured bands include, “The LadyKillers,” “The Nowhere Band,” and “Acoustic Soul,” along with a set performed by John Dolmayan from “System of a Down.”

–It’s the time of the year when holiday classics fill your home–and your local community theatre stage! The Canyon Theatre Presents, “It’s a Wonderful Life,” opening Friday, November 28 with a champagne and wine reception. The show will run through the month of December, and is Frank Capra’s classic heart-warming story of despair, hope, and second chances.
