-Come see music legends the Lovin’ Spoonful live in concert at the Odyssey! An evening of greatest hits from original members Steve Boone, Joe Butler and Jerry Yester on Saturday, October 18th 2008. Special guest, 60’s pop sensation Ian Whitcomb! All funds raised from the concert go to benefit Providence Holy Cross Medical Center!

 

$250 per person, show limited to only 400 guests.
Silent Auction Beach Party 5:30 p.m.

-Kids Expo
See What's Cool for Kids in Santa Clarita at Child & Family Center's 6th annual Kid Expo. Thousands will attend the event on Sunday, October 19 at Golden Valley High School from 11am to 4pm. The FREE event features over 130 exhibits of local businesses offering products or services for children.

Kid Expo features exhibitors from throughout the Santa Clarita Valley showcasing products and services for children. From sports to karate, dance to art, gymnastics to books and tutors, kids and parents can discover the many local events and businesses available for children throughout the SCV. There will be fun games, arts and crafts, reading and storytelling, art, music, sports, and entertainment. There will also be special appearances by cartoon characters.

-Soroptimists International of Greater Santa  Clarita Valley and affiliated friends launch their inaugural event, "The Wine Affair…Sip, Stroll and Savor the Sounds" on Sunday, October 19 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., along Town Center Drive in the Westfield Valencia Town Center in Valencia, California
