The second weekend of the Canyon Theatre Guild’s “Leading Ladies” and “Treasure Island” is upon us, so gather up the family, and head on over to Old Town Newhall. If you listen to the KHTS afternoon drive show with Jason Endicott, you’ll be…er…. pleasantly surprised to see her—I mean, him, starring in “Leading Ladies!” If you ever wanted to see the face that belongs to the voice…don’t let this influence you. What ever do I mean? Just go see “Leading Ladies” at the Canyon Theatre Guild, and look out for Jasonette-uh, Jason Endicott, that is, and get a real kick out of your weekend.

–Daddies can spend a special evening with their daughters this Saturday, at the “City of Santa Clarita Daddy-Daughter Dance.” Held at the Activities Center on Center Pointe Parkway, Daddies can enjoy an elegant evening of dining and dancing with their favorite little princess. Each girlwill receive a flower, photo with their daddy, and a keepsake to commemorate the evening. The cost is $45.00 per couple, and $15.00 for each additional daughter. Girls must be between the ages of 5 and 10.

–Summer is coming, so prepare for it at the “Annual Community Health & Children’s Safety Fair,” from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Newhall Community Center. Workshops will be conducted throughout the day on health, children’s safety, nutrition, and other highly important topics. Health screenings for women, and immunizations for children will be provided, as well as information regarding children’s health insurance programs. Raffle prizes and entertainment will be provided throughout the day.
