Main Street Zombie March
COC Production of Hair
County Oil Recycling/ Big O Tire Remote
Your top things to do this weekend, brought to you by our friends at Facey Medical Group.
Have some fun dressing up and perfect your catatonic, dead-eye stare at the Main Street Zombie March. Get there before dusk on Saturday in costume and join hundreds of zombied-out fun lovers in the march through Old Town Newhall. Don’t forget to bring canned food for the food pantry; one of the purposes of the event is to support the local non-profit.
Be sure to wear a flower in your hair to the College of the Canyons Theater Department production of “HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical.” The first of the “rock musicals” this one is still perhaps the most popular, and it offers a fun look through the eyes of the flower children of the 1960s.
Drop of your used motor oil at LA County’s oil recycling event Saturday from 9 am to 12:00 in the College of the Canyons – Valencia Campus – parking lot. Look for KHTS’ Brandon Gibson and say hi! http://hometownstation.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=17978:oil-recycling-coc-2009-10-05-10-00&catid=26:local-news&Itemid=97
Then, head over to Big O Tires on Valencia Blvd and Cinema Drive where KHTS will be doing more live broadcasts. Say hi to Jon Dell and Lyle Wohlfarth while registering for great prizes. Bring your kids – the KHTS Antique Fire truck will be there! http://hometownstation.com/images/stories/Podcasts/bigoremote.pdf
