A Canyon Country tow company employee is behind bars after slashing at a customer during a fight over impound charges.
According to Sgt. Kevin Blake of the Santa Clarita Valley station, the customer came to the tow yard on Reuther Avenue around 3:15 p.m. to retrieve his vehicle and had a dispute with Antonio Marco Reyes, 35, an employee of the tow yard, over the fees that were due.
A fight ensued, during which Reyes pulled out a pocket knife and cut the victim’s earlobe.
Reyes was arrested and booked at the Santa Clarita Valley station, where he is being held without bail on felony assault charges. He is due in court on Friday.
