Experts give audience ideas on how to stay afloat in economic waters.
The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Development Committee will be holding a Town Hall meeting in September.
Speakers will discuss the economic climate in Santa Clarita and will also talk about what led to the current situation and where it is going.
A panel of local experts including Jim Hicken, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Santa Clarita, Neal Weichel Real Estate Broker for ReMax, and Craig Peters Executive Vice President of CB Richard Ellis, will lead the discussion. The panel will provide an analysis of the areas economy and also discuss what attendees can do to remain competitive.
The Town Hall meeting will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., on September 2, in the Disney Modular Theater at California Institute of the Arts at 24700 McBean Parkway. Participants must be 21 years of age: wine and appetizers will be served. The meeting is free but reservations are recommended.
