Los Angeles County has announced that a planned closure of the I-5 freeway will take place Wednesday and Thursday night in Castaic near Hasley Canyon Road.[view:node_ad=5]The northbound I-5 Freeway is scheduled for closure from Wednesday night, July 16, 2008, to Thursday morning, July 17, 2008, during the hours of 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. 

The detour for the Northbound I-5 traffic will exit at 126 west; south on Commerce Center Drive; east on Henry Mayo Drive; north on The Old Road to the northbound Route 5, on-ramp at Lake Hughes Road.

The southbound I-5 Freeway is scheduled for closure from Thursday night, July 17, 2008, to Friday morning, July 18, 2008, during the hours of 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. 

The detour for the Southbound I-5 traffic will exit at Lake Hughes Road off-ramp, south on The Old Road to the southbound Route 5, on-ramp just north of Rye Canyon.

All lanes on I-5 Freeway north and southbound will reopen after the scheduled closure period.
