Closure to facilitate bridge maintenance.

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close the following lanes of the northbound and southbound Antelope Valley Freeway (State Route 14) as follows, in order to perform bridge maintenance work:

• From 7 p.m. Thursday, July 17 to 5 a.m. Friday, July 18 – Up to two lanes of southbound SR-14 from Avenue N to Palmdale Boulevard

• From 8 p.m. Thursday, July 17 to 6 a.m. Friday, July 18 – Up to two lanes of  northbound SR-14 from Avenue P to Avenue N

• From 7 p.m. Friday, July 18 to 7 a.m. Saturday, July 19 – Up to two lanes of southbound SR-14 from Avenue N to Palmdale Boulevard

• From 9 p.m. Friday, July 18 to 9 a.m. Saturday, July 19 – Up to two lanes of northbound SR-14 from Avenue P to Avenue N

            These closures are weather-permitting and subject to change.  Signs will be posted to assist motorists.
