“Two cars collided in the intersection of Decoro Drive and Hillsboro Parkway at 5:20 p.m,” said William Formica a deputy of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station that was on the scene. “One vehicle hit an electrical box while the other crashed into a tree.”

All four traffic lights lost power and Formica put up stop signs to help with traffic.

“The driver of the car that hit the tree was transported to the hospital for minor injuries,” Formica said.

One of the drivers that was involved in the collision was still on the scene but  did not want to comment about the incident other than saying that “everyone in this valley needs to slow down”.
