A traffic collision was reported at approximately 5:30AM Monday morning on Highway 14 southbound at Golden Valley involving a motorcycle that witnesses and the California Highway Patrol reported to be a motorcycle officer. At this time it is unknown which police department the victim reports to. CalTrans and eye witnesses also reported that the motorcycle struck another vehicle.

Traffic was backed up on the 14 southbound to the Soledad Canyon exit with the number 3 and number 4 lanes blocked.
