Traffic Stop Yields More Than Ticket

Deputies confiscated a large amount of marijuana during a traffic stop Wednesday afternoon.

When Jonathan Joseph Bona was stopped for a traffic offense around 4:20 p.m. at Bouquet Canyon Road and Soledad Canyon Road, deputies saw the marijuana and a scale in the car and arrested Bona on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale, a felony.

He was booked at the Santa Clarita Valley sheriff’s station and is due in court on Friday.
