Motorcyclist Dies At Hospital Following Canyon Country Crash

A motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries at the hospital following a traffic collision in Canyon Country on Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The collision was reported at 10:59 a.m. Wednesday at Sand Canyon Road and Sierra Highway, according to California Highway Patrol officials.

Los Angeles County Fire Department officials transported the victim to a local trauma center at 11:17 a.m.

“The motorcycle rider has succumbed to his injuries after he was at the hospital,” said Sgt Reyes of CHP.

Details of the events leading up to the collision were not immediately available Wednesday afternoon.

“At this time, they are continuing their investigation,” said Reyes, noting that officers were still in the area where the crash occurred around 2:45 p.m. 

The identity of the victim was not being released on Wednesday. No additional information is available at this time.

  1. An 8 year old daughter loved her daddy will have to grow up with out her father. I wish I could help with what his loved ones will have to face now. Right now words aren’t enough. SYS
