Emergency responders first received reports of a single vehicle collision on Bouquet Canyon Road just east of Gilchrist Farm at Heard Drive at 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
Upon arriving emergency crews located the vehicle but were unable to find the vehicle’s occupant.
A search of the area was then conducted by the two departments with a helicopter even being called in to assist.
Responders were unable to locate the occupant of the vehicle and called off the search after “quite a while,” according to Supervisor Bernard Peters of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Officials were unable to confirm how many occupants were believed to have been in the vehicle of if there was any evidence of an injury.
