A road closure at the intersection of Bouquet Canyon Road and Seco Canyon Road originally planned for October 2015 has been rescheduled for this weekend, officials announced Tuesday.

Southern California Edison officials are set to complete scheduled work to replace a utility pole at the intersection beginning at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015 and continuing through 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6.
The construction will require the closure of two eastbound traffic lanes on Bouquet Canyon Road, with one through lane and one left turn lane open at all times, according to city officials.
The traffic signal at the intersection of Bouquet Canyon Road and Seco Canyon Road will be set to flashing red, creating an all-way stop. Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies will be on site Sunday to assist with traffic control.
Regular commuters along Bouquet Canyon Road or Seco Canyon Road are encouraged to plan ahead when traveling during these times.
This work was originally planned for October 10, but had to be postponed due to extreme heat conditions, according to city officials.
