California Highway Patrol officials confirmed the cancellation of the Caltrans closures on the I-5 and SR-14 Tuesday night but construction is expected to continue through the week.

“(Caltrans) called (Tuesday) morning and cancelled the road closures scheduled (Tuesday) evening and for the rest of the week,” said CHP Officer Eric Priessman. “They said the closures were cancelled tonight because of the weather.”
Here are the closures for the week of April 6-11:
Southbound I-5 Closures
All lanes from SR-14 to Balboa Boulevard: midnight to 4 a.m.
Southbound truck lane: midnight to 4 a.m.
Southbound I-5 connector to eastbound I-210: 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Southbound I-5 connector to northbound SR-14: 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Southbound Highway 14 Closures
All lanes from Sierra Highway to I-5: midnight to 4 a.m.
Up to three lanes from Sierra Highway to I-5: 10 p.m. to midnight.
Southbound SR-14 connector to northbound I-5: 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Southbound SR-14 connector to southbound I-5: 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
