No charges have been filed in the case as detectives continue to comb through the evidence, said Shirley Miller, public information officer for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
The crash took place at the intersection of Golden Valley Road and Sierra Highway around 5 p.m. Nov. 5, when a Ford F-250 rear-ended a Toyota Corolla that was stopped at a light.

The collision pushed the sedan into the path of an oncoming bus on Sierra Highway, according to officials.
Marie Antoinette Davis, 67, the driver of the Corolla, was declared dead at the scene by first responders, LACoFD officials said.
The driver of the Ford was transported to the hospital with injuries. It was unknown if the person was still at the hospital as of Thursday, Miller said.
Any potential charges submitted to the District Attorney’s Office for review would be done at the conclusion of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Traffic Unit’s investigation.
