The intersection of Soledad Canyon Road and Bouquet Canyon Road will be under construction from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. on the night of Friday, September 29. The area will be grinded and repaved to extend the life of the roadway.

In order to minimize inconveniences to residents and to avoid interruption to daytime traffic across this busy intersection, project managers and contractors will be completing this intersection in one night. Residents’ patience and cooperation is appreciated.

Please note that lanes available to thru traffic will be limited on Friday after 7 p.m. Residents are encouraged to plan ahead or to use alternative routes during construction.

The noise level of the work will be closely monitored throughout the night by the project foreman, to ensure that it does not exceed the allowable level.

The City spends approximately $9.5 million a year on its annual slurry seal and overlay road preservation project to improve City roadways and extend their life. Without annual rehabilitation of City streets, maintenance would be unmanageable.
