UPDATE: Two Victims Of Fatal Single-Vehicle Traffic Collision Near Agua Dulce Identified

The two victims of a fatal single-vehicle traffic collision that occurred near Agua Dulce on Thursday morning have been identified by officials with the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner.

Raymond Kahoonei, 84, of Saugus, and Chiyo Kahoonei, 82, of Saugus, were killed on Thursday morning after their vehicle went off the side of the road on Sierra Highway at Agua Dulce Canyon Road, said Investigator McCracken with the L.A. County Department of Coroner.

The L.A. County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol responded to the location at approximately 7:23 a.m. on Thursday to a report of a car fire, said Supervisor Peters with the L.A. County Fire Department.

Upon arrival, officials discovered a vehicle off the side of the road. Both parties were pronounced dead on scene, said Peters.

The CHP is investigating the crash.
