Severe traffic impacts Soledad.

On this wet morning, a pickup truck slammed into a power line on Whites Canyon road at Soledad.

The accident knocked out traffic lights all along Soledad from Whites to Sierra Highway. Some additional lights on Whites Canyon were also out.

As of 12:30 this afternoon, lights had been restored to all intersections except for Soledad and Whites.  

Emergency crews responded and secured the area around the power line, as there was a danger it could fall.

Traffic is expected to be impacted for several hours.
