It will be a busy day in Santa Clarita Saturday, with full slate of activities planned citywide. KHTS AM-1220 will be participating in two major events, both of which are open to the public and free.

From 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Los Angeles County will be holding a free oil recycling event in parking lot 8 at College of the Canyons – Valencia campus. Residents are encouraged to drop off their used oil and oil filters. While supplies last, Los Angeles County will be giving away free oil filters in exchange for used ones.

KHTS Morning Show host Brandon Gibson will be on hand playing music and giving away prizes.

Starting at 11:00 a.m. KHTS’ Jon Dell will be at Big O Tires on Valencia Blvd near Cinema Drive celebrating a three-day sale and party. Free food and drinks will be available, and the KHTS antique fire truck will be there for kids of all ages.
