Christopher Johnsen, 20, of Canyon Country and Travis Wanke, 28, of Valencia were booked at the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station. Their bail has been set at $120,000 each.

Deputies responded to a disturbance at Chuy’s on The Old Road shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday. Witnesses reported that  prior to the scuffle, Johnsen and Wanke had removed their shirts, exposing swastika and white supremacist tattoos and shouted racial epithets at a black patron of the restaurant. A fight between the three ensued, causing minor injuries to the victim.

Sgt. Deborah Miller said the men were being held on suspicion of felony hate crime, conspiracy and battery. They are scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
