Two Men Sought In Pet Store Robbery

Deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station are seeking two suspects in the burglary of a Newhall facility for pets.

“They went into the veterinary store and stole some stuff,” according to Lt. Bryski of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, describing the daylight robbery of All Creatures Emergency at the intersection of Lyons Avenue and Chestnut. “They didn’t mess with anyone or hurt anybody,” he added.

The burglars went into All Creatures Emergency at around 1:30 p.m., according to officials. Drugs are believed to be a motive in the crime, although officials could not confirm the value of the items stolen. All Creatures Emergency officials could not be reached for comment.

The suspects escaped in a silver Lexus sedan.
