The City’s population, demographic characteristics, and the needs of the community have changed over the years. The community workshops are part of an ongoing effort in determining what the public sees as community needs, issues, opportunities, and constraints in the parks, recreation, and open space areas.

Once updated, the master plan will be a guiding document for the future of the City's parks, recreation and open space areas.
