While the winner of the Texas Hold ‘Em tournament will certainly receive the satisfaction of contributing to an important cause, this person will also be sent to the World Series of Poker with a $1,500 entry.

“Our goal is to get 200 people in the room, and we’re not too far off from it,” said Kim Goldman, Executive Director of the SCV Youth Project.

The price to play is $125, which will include a seat at a table, dinner and wine.

The event will also feature celebrity guests, prizes and cigars.

“We’ll be at a beautiful facility,” Goldman said. “It’s definitely a poker event, but we’re trying to loosen it up a have all sorts of people attend.”

You can reserve their spot today by calling (661) 257-9688 or by filling out this online form.

Registration begins at 5:00 p.m. and the actual tournament begins at 6:00 p.m.
