Sheriff’s deputies got some help from canine units in the search for a second burglary suspect after an incident on the 26000 block of O’Hara Lane in Stevenson Ranch.
Shortly after 1 p.m., a female resident of a home on O’Hara Lane came home and found a man running out the back door. Deputies responding learned that there was not just one, but two suspects in the break-in and quickly captured one suspect near the home.
After detaining the first suspect, deputies contained the area and searched for a second suspect for over two hours. By 4:00 p.m. they had finally brought him into custody.
The original containment included several Stevenson Ranch streets, including O’Hara Lane, Cavanaugh, Hemingway and Wordsworth.
