Update: Brush Fires Prompt Shutdown Of 14 Freeway

At approximately 5:30 p.m., firefighters began efforts to contain three brush fires just off SR-14 headed northbound at Agua Dulce Canyon Road.

The entire fire was knocked down at approximately 6:45 p.m.

Caltrans is reporting that the HOV and number one lanes going northbound are now open. The number two and three lanes are still closed.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the three separate fires burned a total of 12 acres, stretching a distance of three miles.

No structures were damaged.
