College of the Canyons will now move to the tournament’s consolation bracket where they await the loser of the match-up between Saginaw Valley State University and nationally top-ranked Northern Arizona University (NAU), which is currently being played.

Grand Valley State University will face the winner of that match-up.

Last month the Cougars defeated NAU in the Pacific Collegiate Hockey Association (PCHA) championship game to win the coveted Adam’s Cup and advance to Rochester.
