Accident snarls traffic.

 

UPDATE: 8:15 a.m.

[view:node_ad=5]An accident occurred on the southbound 14 freeway near Golden Valley Rd. at 7:19 this morning.

One person was trapped in a vehicle and at 7:30 all southbound lanes were closed temporarily to get the individual out.

At just after 8:10 a.m. all lanes were cleared.

Traffic was severely impacted and is backed up past Sand Canyon Rd.

Even now that the lanes are re-opened, some traffic implications will likely continue throughout the morning commute.
