UPDATE: Utility Pole On Soledad Repaired, All Lanes Open

All back to normal on Soledad Canyon Road after Saturday's accident.

[view:node_ad=5] Saturday afternoon, at approximately 3:45 pm, a driver who reportely fell asleep at the wheel struck a utility pole with his vehicle on westbound Soledad Canyon Road near the Saugus Speedway. The pole was badly damaged and was being held up by the car.

Edison crews worked through the night and into Sunday morning and have completed repairs, replacing the damaged pole. Traffic is moving normally on the cross-town road.
