A small brush fire was reported near County Fire Station 80 in Acton and firefighters have knocked down the blaze after it burned just short of one hour.
Firefighters report that the fire consumed just short of five acres of medium brush, stopping at a ridge line in the area. The fire burned near Camp 11 and was fought by both Los Angeles County Fire units and those from Angeles National Forest.
CHP units blocked traffic on Soledad Canyon Road for firefighting purposes and film crews working within the containment were evacuated for their safety. The area burned included brush above Soledad Canyon Road between Soledad and the freeway just south of Agua Dulce Canyon Road.
