UPDATED: Cable Failure Leaves Saugus Residents Without Power

Power was restored to all homes at 12:25 p.m.

At approximately 3:25 a.m., a cable failure caused 1,789 residences in the Saugus area to lose power.

The affected homes were located north of Decoro Drive, south of Copper Hill Drive, west of Carnegie Avenue, and east of Palmetto Ridge Drive.

At 4:25 a.m., Southern California Edison was able to narrow down the outages to 110 residences located on Pamplico Drive and Seco Canyon Road.
