UPDATED 3:21 p.m. Monday – Deputies have identified the rider who eluded them Monday morning after crashing a motorcycle near the AM/PM Minimart at Bouquet Junction, but he is not yet in custody.

Deputies are looking for a motorcyclist who crashed his motorcycle near the AM/PM MiniMart and ran from the scene, shortly before 11 a.m., according to Sgt. Richard Nagler of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s station.

There is a containment area set up west of the crash location that includes the wash behind the Mercedes Benz dealership on Valencia Boulevard.

The motorcycle may have been stolen, but that is not confirmed by the sheriff’s department.

The suspect is described only as a white male, wearing dark clothing.
