UPDATED: Missing Canyon Country Woman Found Dead In Forest, Husband, Car, Dog Still Unfound

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department posted Wednesday night on their Facebook account that “Renata Klein was a murder victim. Detectives seeking help to find missing husband and car.”

Homicide detectives have identified Klein’s husband Dusan as a ‘person of interest’ in the case.

LASD has indicated that they will release more information Thursday morning.

 

 

An autopsy has been completed on the body of Renata Klein, whose body was found near Upper Big Tujunga Road in the Angeles National Forest by public works employees, but a coroner’s spokesman said the cause of death was “deferred.”

Sheriff’s homicide investigators provided the photo at right which includes the family dog, Cindy.

Klein and her husband, Dusan, went missing June 12, after speaking with friends Saturday night. They left their Wildwind Canyon Road home in Canyon Country driving a 1999 gold-colored Jeep Cherokee, California plate 4FLN519 and had their black and white Cocker Spaniel “Cindy” with them.

Klein_DusanRenata’s body was found Wednesday morning, and positively identified on Friday. There has been no sign of Dusan Klein or the dog or the vehicle.

Dusan Klein is a Caucasian male, 6 feet, 2 inches in height, weighing 190, with brown hair and brown eyes.
