Power outtages reported in Saugus, Canyon Country, Valencia, Stevenson Ranch, restored before noon to all areas.

Power was knocked out throughout the Santa Clarita Valley due to a fire in San Diego.
Edison spokesperson Lauren Bartlett said that at 11:27 a.m., the California Independent System Operator (ISO), which controls the state's power grid, declared a transmission emergency because of a fire in a San Diego County substation. Edison was asked to drop 200 megawatts, in rotation with other power providers, to help deal with the emergency. Bartlett said that 130,000 customers were affected, adding that all power was restored by 11:57 a.m.
The Santa Clarita Sheriff's station reported lights out at intersections throughout the valley, including The Old Road and Stevenson Ranch
