A multiple vehicle collision occurred at 1:03 P.M. Wednesday, on The Old Road just south of Wedgewood Court, between two deputies in a Sheriff’s Patrol Car, a 2003 Saturn 4-door and a Suzuki motorcycle according to a CHP press release.
The Motorcyclist was transported to a local area hospital with Major Injuries all other persons involved received only minor injuries according to the report.
According to the Press Release, The motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed and was unable to stop when he collided into the 4-door sedan when it turned into a private road. The deputies in order to avoid the collision steered to the right, left the roadway and collided with a chain link fence prior to coming to rest in a field.
All parties who were transported, were transported to local area hospitals.

A deputy involved collision occurred at approximately 1:05 p.m. and there were minor injuries to the deputy, said Lt. Tom Bryski of the Santa Clarita Sheriffs department.
The collision was located on the Old Road and Hill Crest in Castaic where the CHP stopped traffic on The Old Road for over two hours to conduct their investigation.
CHP Officers are still in the field but the old reopened at approximately 2:42 p.m., CHP officials said.
There is no other information available at this time.
