UPDATED 10:16 a.m. Thursday

The three people arrested during Wednesday’s barricaded containment on Cross Street have been identified, but the primary suspect remains at large.

Thomas Joseph Oshea, 26; Diana Graham, 22; and Andrew Donahue, 26, were all arrested on narcotics charges and remain in custody in lieu of $10,000 bail. They are scheduled to appear in court Friday. The primary suspect is known to detectives, but has not yet been arrested.

The containment that had most of the Wildwood Canyon area locked down Wednesday was put into place shortly after 10 a.m. when a stolen truck involved in an earlier pursuit was seen in the area and a house on Cross Street was identified as the residence of a possible suspect.

When deputies attempted to arrest the driver at gunpoint, he took off, striking a patrol car, and headed south on Bouquet Canyon Road, when deputies conducted a brief pursuit.  The vehicle was allegedly stolen during a burglary of storage facilities on Monday, and was part of a large number of items taken. In addition, according to sheriff’s reports, the driver had taken some items from Lowe’s before he came out of the store.

After commanders called off the pursuit, deputies tracked the vehicle visually and spotted it on Cross Street in mid-morning. Deputies arrived at the home and attempted to get the driver, described as a white male in his 20s, standing 6 feet 2 inches in height and having a shaved head, to come outside, but he refused. Other occupants of the house left the house and told deputies that the man they were looking for wasn’t coming out.

5_1_Barricade_WD__0095Deputies blocked the area around the house and brought in aero units to keep watch overhead. The waiting process stretched into the afternoon, with deputies assigned to the Special Enforcement Bureau communicating with the man inside the house.

According to a witness on the scene, two armored vehicles were brought in and one removed the windows from the front of the  house to lob in tear gas grenades. The same witness said that a man who had been inside the house but came out early was allegedly talking to the suspect via cell phone and was placed under arrest, as was another young man who was very uncooperative when deputies approached him.

Sheriff’s officials have searched the house and found no more occupants; Sgt. Anderson of the Santa Clarita Valley station said that three “persons of interest” were in custody and deputies are looking for other items of stolen property and other suspects whose “arrests are imminent.”

The truck was towed away from the scene around 4 p.m.
