UPDATED 3:36 p.m. Wednesday
The transition lanes from the southbound I-5 to the northbound 14 freeway are cleared and reopened, after cleanup from a Walmart tractor-trailer crash that happened earlier this morning.
According to California Highway Patrol Officer John Lutz, the 2009 Freightliner tractor-trailer was being driven by Robert Throop, 53, of Reno, who was pulling a trailer filled with bananas, headed for Reno.

At about 10:30 a.m., Throop was driving southbound on the I-5 and attempted to cross the overpass transition to the northbound 14, but lost control of his vehicle and flipped the cab of the truck.
Neither Throop or his passenger, Robert Skyles, 60, also of Reno, were injured, but the truck blocked all lanes of the transition, causing a massive traffic jam.
Shortly after noon, the trailer and cab were righted and moved to the shoulder of the road and cleanup crews continued to clear the roadway.
