UPDATED:Child Stuck In Tree At Valencia Meadows Park

khts_fireenginefrontUPDATED 3:42 p.m. Rescue personnel from L.A. County Fire have secured a young boy who had climbed 30 feet up a tree in Valencia Meadows Park and was refusing to get down. The child is now safe.

Fire department rescue units are in Valencia Meadows Park trying to help a child who has climbed 30 feet up a tree in the park and is stuck.

 

They have called for an inflatable bag to cushion the child’s fall if they cannot get to the child in other means before that time.

The park is located near Calle Arbor and Fedala Drive. Sheriff’s units are responding to the scene to handle crowd control.
